Buying

Looking to buy a home and don’t know where to begin? Let's connect and we will begin the steps to get your home search started. Here are some of my responsibilities as your buyers agent:

  • I will never require you to sign a buyer agency agreement until you are comfortable and confident in my ability to represent you.

  • I will only represent your side and never represent the seller’s side in a transaction on a home, to avoid any conflict of interest.

  • Buying a home is a personal decision and I will never rush or push you into something that you are not comfortable with.

  • I will explain the steps of buying a home in North Carolina from start to finish including writing an offer, due diligence period, earnest money, ALTA form and other paperwork you will see throughout the process.

  • I will provide you with any needed recommendations, including lenders, real estate attorneys, inspectors and contractors.

  • I will actively search for homes that fit your criteria and will set you up with a multi listing service (MLS) search so you are getting updates when new homes hit the market.

  • When you find the right home, I will create a professional price opinion on the home based on comparable properties in the area and then assist you in writing an offer.

  • I will conduct a thorough investigation of the property you are writing an offer on to ensure information being presented by the seller is accurate.

  • During the due diligence period, I will hire inspectors and other experts you need so you know exactly what you are purchasing.

  • During the due diligence period I will negotiate for you on repairs and concessions that you feel are warranted on the home.

  • I will proactively monitor to make sure deadlines are being met and that you are able to close on time.
